The Choreographers. Most Texas line dancers need no introduction to Michael Barr and Michele Burton. They have been instrumental in teaching Workshop dances for many years. Together, Michael and Michele have choreographed many of our favorite dances such as Beautiful Goodbye, Right On Time, Rain Against My Window, Carolina Moon, Doors Of Life, Rumba Breeze, CanAm Tango, Midnight Rendezvous, What’s Your Name, and many more.
Seriously, we feel blessed that Michael and Michele have been present for so many years at the Workshop. We hope they’ll continue the tradition for many more years to come.
Open Dances. Click here for a list of Open Dances. Check the notes on the second page of the Open Dance List. Dances on the list will be played in order of popularity (number of times a dance was submitted by the teachers). Whatever we aren’t able to play on Thursday evening will be carried over to open dance times on Friday and Saturday. If your favorite dance isn’t on the list please request it at the Friday night open dance when we’ll take requests from the floor.
Dances for 2017. Selection of the new dances for 2017 is complete and the results are shown below in alphabetical order. The new dances are marked with “new“.
