ACDA

Congratulations! You have arrived at the ACDA Page!!!

So, what the heck is the ACDA? Well… for starters, it’s a really cool Dance Circuit formed in 2003 with the goal to provide dancers an affordable and fair means to compete. Not only that but the ACDA listens to the suggestions made by the dance community and continually reviews and revises its rules and scoring methods accordingly. And it promotes line dancing as well as couple dancing.

Sound good? Yeah, it is! ACDA stands for (The) American Country Dance Association. And if you want a friendly, down-home place to test your dance skills on the competition floor or to watch professional dancers give their best in performance, then you ought to try an ACDA event.

At the various ACDA events, there is a dedicated line dance room where ALL LEVELS of line dancers learn new dances at workshops provided by local line dance instructors. These workshops run every hour during the day and at night there is open line dance.
